Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies
Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies was born on July 19, 1819, in Naples, Italy. She was a member of the Bourbon dynasty and the daughter of King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies and Maria Carolina of Austria. Maria Teresa became the Queen consort of Sardinia through her marriage to King Victor Emmanuel II in 1842, playing a significant role in the political landscape of Italy during the unification period.
