Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy is an alternative treatment that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is believed to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, and relaxation. The cups can be made of glass, bamboo, or silicone and are typically left on the skin for a few minutes.
The therapy can be performed in two main ways: dry cupping, which uses suction only, and wet cupping, which involves small incisions on the skin to draw out a small amount of blood. While some people report benefits, scientific evidence on its effectiveness is limited.
