5th Marquess of Salisbury
The 5th Marquess of Salisbury, born on February 24, 1856, was a British statesman and member of the Conservative Party. His full name was Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne-Cecil, and he succeeded his father, the 4th Marquess, in 1868. He served as a Member of Parliament and held various governmental positions, including Secretary of State for India.
