6th Marquess of Salisbury
The 6th Marquess of Salisbury, Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, was a British nobleman born on February 3, 1893. He was the son of the 5th Marquess and succeeded to the title in 1947. The Marquess was known for his involvement in politics and served as a Conservative member in the House of Lords.
He played a significant role in various organizations, including the Royal Agricultural Society and the National Trust. The 6th Marquess was also a prominent landowner, managing the family estate at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. He passed away on April 24, 2000.
