Vinoba Bhave
Vinoba Bhave was an Indian social reformer and a key figure in the Indian independence movement. Born on September 11, 1895, he was a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi and played a significant role in promoting non-violence and social justice. Bhave is best known for his land reform movement, known as the Bhoodan Movement, which aimed to persuade landowners to donate a portion of their land to the landless.
Throughout his life, Vinoba Bhave emphasized the importance of education, rural development, and community service. He traveled extensively across India, inspiring many to join his cause for social equality. His efforts earned him the title of "the spiritual successor of Gandhi," and he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize multiple times.
