Triquetrum Bone
The Triquetrum bone is one of the eight small bones that make up the wrist, known as the carpal bones. It is located on the ulnar side of the wrist, between the Pisiform bone and the Lunate bone. The Triquetrum has a roughly pyramidal shape and plays a crucial role in wrist movement and stability.
This bone articulates with several other bones, including the Scaphoid bone and the Hamate bone, allowing for a wide range of motion in the wrist. Injuries to the Triquetrum can affect wrist function and may require medical attention to ensure proper healing.
