SAARC Development Fund
The SAARC Development Fund (SDF) is a financial institution established by the member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) in 2010. Its primary goal is to promote economic and social development in the region by providing financial assistance for projects that benefit the member states, which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
The SDF focuses on various sectors such as health, education, and infrastructure, aiming to improve the quality of life for people in South Asia.
