Onde-onde
Onde-onde is a traditional Indonesian snack made from glutinous rice flour. These small, round balls are typically filled with sweet palm sugar and coated with grated coconut or sesame seeds. When cooked, the outer layer becomes chewy while the inside melts into a sweet syrup.
To prepare onde-onde, the dough is shaped into balls, filled with the sweet filling, and then boiled or steamed. They are often enjoyed as a dessert or snack and are popular during festive occasions. Onde-onde is not only delicious but also showcases the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia.
