Northern Qi Dynasty
The Northern Qi Dynasty was a short-lived Chinese dynasty that existed from 550 to 577 AD. It was established by the Xianbei people after the fall of the Northern Wei Dynasty. The capital was located in Ye, present-day Handan in Hebei province. The dynasty is known for its cultural achievements and advancements in art and architecture.
During its reign, the Northern Qi Dynasty faced internal strife and external threats, particularly from the Sui Dynasty. The dynasty ultimately fell in 577 AD when it was conquered by the Sui, marking the end of the Northern Dynasties period in Chinese history.
