National Unity Platform
The National Unity Platform (NUP) is a political party in Uganda founded in 2019. It emerged from the need for a unified opposition against the long-standing rule of President Yoweri Museveni and the National Resistance Movement (NRM). The party aims to promote democracy, social justice, and human rights in the country.
Led by Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, the NUP has gained significant support, especially among the youth. The party's platform focuses on addressing issues such as corruption, unemployment, and poor governance, seeking to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all Ugandans.
