Mountain Positions
Mountain Positions refer to a specific set of yoga postures that focus on grounding and stability. The primary position is the Tadasana, or Mountain Pose, where practitioners stand tall with feet together, arms at their sides, and weight evenly distributed. This pose encourages proper alignment and helps improve posture.
In addition to the basic Mountain Pose, variations can include Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute) and Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog). These positions promote strength, balance, and flexibility, making them essential for both beginners and experienced yogis.
