Ludwig IV
Ludwig IV, also known as Ludwig IV of Bavaria, was a German king who reigned from 1314 to 1347. He was born in 1282 and became the Holy Roman Emperor in 1328. His reign was marked by conflicts with rival claimants to the throne and efforts to strengthen the power of the monarchy.
Ludwig IV was a member of the House of Wittelsbach and played a significant role in the politics of medieval Germany. He is known for his attempts to unify the various German territories and for his involvement in the Hundred Years' War. His reign ended with his death in 1347, after which he was succeeded by Charles IV.
