Long Jumpers
Long jumpers are athletes who compete in the long jump event, a track and field discipline. The goal is to jump as far as possible from a take-off board into a sandpit. Athletes use a combination of speed, strength, and technique to achieve maximum distance.
During a long jump competition, each jumper typically has a set number of attempts to record their best jump. The distance is measured from the take-off board to the nearest point of landing in the sand. Successful long jumpers often train in related areas such as sprinting and plyometrics to enhance their performance.
