LeT
LeT, or Lashkar-e-Taiba, is a militant organization based in Pakistan. Founded in the late 1980s, it aims to establish an Islamic state in Kashmir and has been involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks in India. The group is known for its strong anti-India stance and has been designated as a terrorist organization by several countries.
LeT operates under the umbrella of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, which is a charitable organization that provides social services. Despite its humanitarian facade, LeT has been linked to numerous violent incidents, including the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which resulted in significant loss of life and heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
