Mumbai attacks
The Mumbai attacks refer to a series of coordinated terrorist attacks that occurred in Mumbai, India, from November 26 to November 29, 2008. The attacks were carried out by ten members of the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, who targeted multiple locations, including the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Leopold Cafe, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
The assault resulted in the deaths of 166 people and injured over 300 others. The attacks drew international condemnation and highlighted vulnerabilities in India's security infrastructure. In response, the Indian government implemented various measures to enhance national security and counter-terrorism efforts.
