Lady Elizabeth Seymour
Lady Elizabeth Seymour was an English noblewoman born around 1518. She was the daughter of Edward Seymour, the 1st Duke of Somerset, and Jane Seymour, the third wife of King Henry VIII. Elizabeth was part of the influential Seymour family, which played a significant role in the politics of the Tudor period.
Elizabeth married John Dudley, the 1st Duke of Northumberland, and became the mother of several children, including Guildford Dudley. Her family connections placed her at the center of the power struggles during the reign of Edward VI, her half-brother, and the subsequent political turmoil following his death.
