Guildford Dudley
Guildford Dudley was a prominent figure in 16th-century England, known for being the son of John Dudley, the Duke of Northumberland. He played a significant role during the reign of King Edward VI, who was the son of Henry VIII. Guildford was appointed as the Duke of Northumberland's heir and was involved in the political machinations of the time.
In 1553, Guildford married Lady Jane Grey, who was briefly declared queen after Edward VI's death. However, their reign lasted only nine days before they were overthrown by Mary I. Guildford was eventually executed in 1554, marking the end of his short-lived influence in English history.
