King Ladislaus of Naples
King Ladislaus of Naples, also known as Ladislaus the Magnanimous, was a ruler of the Kingdom of Naples from 1386 until his death in 1414. He was born in 1376 and was a member of the Anjou dynasty. His reign was marked by efforts to consolidate power and stabilize the region, which had been plagued by conflicts and rivalries.
Ladislaus was known for his military campaigns and diplomatic maneuvers, which helped to expand his influence in southern Italy. He also sought to strengthen the Kingdom of Sicily and maintain control over the Papal States. His rule ended with his untimely death, leading to a succession crisis in Naples.
