Judicial System of Mongolia
The judicial system of Mongolia is structured to uphold the rule of law and protect citizens' rights. It consists of three main levels: the Supreme Court, the Aimag Courts (provincial courts), and the Sukhbaatar District Court in the capital, Ulaanbaatar. Judges are appointed based on qualifications and are expected to be impartial.
The system operates under the Constitution of Mongolia, which guarantees the independence of the judiciary. Legal proceedings are conducted in accordance with the Civil Code and the Criminal Code, ensuring fair trials and access to justice for all individuals.
