Joan of Burgundy
Joan of Burgundy was a noblewoman born in 1293, known for her role in the political landscape of medieval Europe. She was the daughter of Robert II, Duke of Burgundy and Agnes of France. In 1310, she married Philip VI of France, which strengthened the alliance between the Duchy of Burgundy and the French crown.
Joan became the Queen of France and had several children, including John II of France. Her marriage was significant in consolidating power and influence in the region. Joan passed away in 1349, leaving a legacy tied to the royal lineage of France and Burgundy.
