Agnes of France
Agnes of France was a medieval princess born around 1150, the daughter of King Louis VII of France and Eleanor of Aquitaine. She became a nun and later the abbess of the Abbey of Saint-Denis, a prominent religious institution in France. Agnes was known for her piety and dedication to her faith.
In 1177, she was married to Henry the Young King, the son of Henry II of England, but their union was short-lived due to his early death in 1183. Afterward, Agnes continued her religious life, contributing to the spiritual community until her passing in 1201.
