Isabelle of Valois
Isabelle of Valois was born on July 18, 1385, in Paris, France. She was the daughter of Charles VI of France and Isabeau of Bavaria. At the age of 12, she married Richard II of England to strengthen the alliance between France and England, but their marriage was short-lived due to Richard's deposition in 1399.
After Richard's fall, Isabelle returned to France and later married Charles, Duke of Orléans. She became a prominent figure in the Hundred Years' War and was known for her intelligence and political acumen. Isabelle died on September 13, 1422, in Paris.
