Isabeau of Bavaria
Isabeau of Bavaria (c. 1370–1435) was a queen consort of France, married to King Charles VI. She was the daughter of Stephen III of Bavaria and Taddea Visconti. Isabeau became queen in 1385 and played a significant role in the political landscape of France during the tumultuous period of the Hundred Years' War.
Her reign was marked by instability, as her husband suffered from mental illness, leading to power struggles among the nobility. Isabeau's alliances and actions, including her controversial marriage to Henry V of England, significantly influenced the course of French history during the early 15th century.
