Infante Carlos of Spain
Infante Carlos of Spain, born on January 30, 1788, was a member of the Spanish royal family. He was the son of King Charles IV of Spain and Maria Luisa of Parma. Carlos was known for his involvement in the political turmoil of Spain during the early 19th century, particularly during the Peninsular War.
Carlos was a claimant to the Spanish throne, advocating for the Carlist cause, which sought to establish a different line of succession. His claims led to a series of civil wars known as the Carlist Wars, which significantly impacted Spain's political landscape in the 19th century.
