Hero WOD
A "Hero WOD" is a type of workout in the CrossFit community designed to honor fallen military personnel, first responders, or other heroes. These workouts often feature high-intensity exercises and are typically more challenging than standard workouts, reflecting the dedication and sacrifice of those being commemorated.
Each Hero WOD is named after a specific individual, such as Navy SEAL Michael Murphy or Firefighter Stephen Siller. The workouts often include a combination of weightlifting, cardio, and bodyweight movements, encouraging participants to push their limits while remembering the bravery of those who served.
