Druze Community
The Druze community is a religious and ethnic group primarily found in the Levant, particularly in Lebanon, Syria, and Israel. They originated from the Ismaili branch of Shia Islam in the 11th century and have since developed a unique faith that incorporates elements from various philosophies, including Gnosticism and Platonism.
Druze beliefs emphasize the importance of knowledge, loyalty, and community. They practice a form of religious secrecy, with many of their teachings and texts kept hidden from outsiders. The community is known for its strong social cohesion and commitment to mutual support among its members.
