Ismaili
The term "Ismaili" refers to a branch of the Shia sect of Islam. Ismailis believe in a line of spiritual leaders known as Imams, who are considered the rightful successors to the Prophet Muhammad. They interpret the teachings of Islam in a way that emphasizes the importance of knowledge, community service, and spiritual development.
Ismailis are known for their diverse cultural practices and communities around the world, including regions in South Asia, East Africa, and North America. The current Imam, Aga Khan IV, plays a significant role in guiding the community and promoting social development initiatives globally.
