Dipendra of Nepal
Dipendra of Nepal was the crown prince of the Kingdom of Nepal, born on June 27, 1971. He was the eldest son of King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya. Dipendra was educated in Nepal and the United Kingdom, where he studied at Eton College and Tribhuvan University. He was known for his interest in sports and military training.
On June 1, 2001, Dipendra became the king of Nepal for a brief period after a tragic incident in which he allegedly killed several members of the royal family, including his parents, during a party. He fell into a coma and died three days later, leaving the throne to his younger brother, Gyanendra.
