Badshahi Mosque
The Badshahi Mosque is a grand mosque located in Lahore, Pakistan. Built in 1673 during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, it is one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque features stunning red sandstone and marble architecture, showcasing intricate carvings and beautiful calligraphy.
The mosque can accommodate around 55,000 worshippers at a time. Its impressive minarets rise to a height of 70 feet, and the main prayer hall is adorned with exquisite frescoes. The Badshahi Mosque is not only a place of worship but also a significant historical and cultural landmark in South Asia.
