Adelaide of Valois
Adelaide of Valois was a French princess born in 1339, the daughter of Philip VI of France and Joan of Burgundy. She became the Queen of Navarre through her marriage to Charles II of Navarre in 1352. Her union was politically significant, strengthening ties between France and Navarre.
Adelaide's life was marked by the turbulent politics of the time, including conflicts between the French crown and the Navarrese nobility.
