Abdul Aziz al-Hakim
Abdul Aziz al-Hakim was an influential Iraqi politician and a prominent leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC). Born in 1950, he played a significant role in Iraqi politics following the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Al-Hakim was known for advocating for the rights of the Shiite community in Iraq and worked towards establishing a democratic government.
He was also a key figure in the formation of the Iraqi National Assembly and served as its president. Al-Hakim's leadership was marked by his efforts to promote national reconciliation and stability in post-war Iraq. He passed away in 2009, leaving a lasting impact on Iraqi politics.
