카데시 전투
The Battle of Kadesh was fought around 1274 BC between the forces of the Egyptian Empire, led by Pharaoh Ramesses II, and the Hittite Empire, commanded by King Muwatalli II. This battle is one of the earliest recorded in history and took place near the city of Kadesh, located in present-day Syria.
The conflict was significant due to its scale and the use of chariots. Although the battle ended in a stalemate, it led to a peace treaty between the two empires, marking one of the first known instances of diplomatic negotiations in history.
