خورشت
خورشت (khoresh) is a traditional Persian stew commonly served with rice in Iranian cuisine. It is made by simmering meat, vegetables, and legumes, often flavored with spices and herbs. There are many varieties of خورشت, each with unique ingredients, such as خورشت قیمه (khoresh gheymeh) made with split peas and سیبزمینی (potatoes), or خورشت فسنجان (khoresh fesenjan) which features ground walnuts and pomegranate molasses.
