suyus
A "suyu" refers to one of the four regions of the ancient Inca Empire, known as the Tawantinsuyu. Each suyu was responsible for different geographical areas and played a crucial role in the administration and organization of the empire. The four suyus are Chinchaysuyu (north), Antisuyu (east), Collasuyu (south), and Kuntisuyu (west).
Each suyu had its own unique culture, resources, and people. The Inca utilized these regions for agriculture, trade, and military purposes, ensuring the empire's stability and growth. The division into suyus helped the Incas manage their vast territory effectively.
