Kuntisuyu
Kuntisuyu was one of the four regions of the Inca Empire, known as the Tawantinsuyu. It was located in the southern part of present-day Peru, primarily encompassing the area around the city of Cuzco, which served as the empire's capital. Kuntisuyu was characterized by its diverse geography, including mountains and valleys, which influenced the agricultural practices of the local population.
The name "Kuntisuyu" translates to "the region of the Kunti," referring to a specific ethnic group within the Inca civilization. This region played a significant role in the Inca economy, contributing to the empire's wealth through agriculture, trade, and resource management.
