Collasuyu
Collasuyu was one of the four regions of the Inca Empire, known as the Tawantinsuyu. It encompassed the southern part of the empire, including parts of present-day Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. The region was characterized by diverse geography, ranging from high mountains to valleys, which influenced its agricultural practices and cultural development.
The inhabitants of Collasuyu were primarily Aymara and Quechua speakers. They engaged in farming, herding, and trade, contributing to the economic strength of the Inca Empire. Collasuyu was also significant for its religious sites, including important temples and shrines dedicated to Inca deities.
