Antisuyu
Antisuyu was one of the four regions of the Inca Empire, known as the Tawantinsuyu. It was located in the southeastern part of the empire, primarily covering areas that are now part of Bolivia, Peru, and Chile. The name "Antisuyu" translates to "the region of the Antis," referring to the indigenous peoples living in the eastern highlands.
This region was characterized by its diverse geography, including mountains, valleys, and forests. The Incas utilized the resources of Antisuyu for agriculture, particularly growing crops like potatoes and maize. The area was also significant for its rich cultural heritage and played a vital role in the expansion of the Inca civilization.
