decline push-up
The decline push-up is a variation of the standard push-up that targets the upper chest and shoulders more intensely. To perform this exercise, place your feet on an elevated surface, such as a bench or step, while your hands remain on the ground. This position shifts your body weight forward, increasing the difficulty and engaging different muscle groups.
To execute a decline push-up, start in a plank position with your body straight from head to heels. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your chest nearly touches the ground, then push back up to the starting position. Maintain proper form throughout to avoid injury.
