Zazaki
Zazaki is an Indo-European language primarily spoken in eastern Turkey, particularly in the regions of Dersim and Tunceli. It belongs to the Northwest Iranian branch of the Iranian languages and is closely related to Kurdish. Zazaki has several dialects, including Northern Zazaki and Southern Zazaki, which can vary significantly in pronunciation and vocabulary.
The language is used by the Zaza people, who have a rich cultural heritage. Despite its historical significance, Zazaki faces challenges, including limited official recognition and declining usage among younger generations. Efforts are being made to promote and preserve the language through education and cultural initiatives.
