White Rhino
The White Rhino, or Ceratotherium simum, is one of the largest species of rhinoceros. It is native to southern Africa and is characterized by its broad mouth, which is adapted for grazing on grasses. There are two subspecies: the Southern White Rhino and the critically endangered Northern White Rhino.
White rhinos can weigh up to 2,300 kilograms (5,000 pounds) and are known for their large size and distinctive two horns. They primarily inhabit savannas and grasslands, where they play a crucial role in maintaining the ecosystem by grazing and creating pathways for other animals.
