Rhinoceroses, often called rhinos, are large, thick-skinned mammals known for their impressive horns. They are native to Africa and Asia and can weigh up to 2,300 kilograms. Rhinos are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. Their unique horns are made of keratin, the same material found in human hair and nails, and can grow throughout their lives.
There are five species of rhinos: the White Rhino, Black Rhino, Indian Rhino, Javan Rhino, and Sumatran Rhino. Sadly, many rhino species are endangered due to poaching and habitat loss. Conservation efforts are crucial to protect these magnificent creatures and their habitats.
