Vela Constellation
The Vela Constellation is a prominent constellation located in the southern sky. It represents the sails of the ship Argo Navis, which was used by the mythological hero Jason and his crew in their quest for the Golden Fleece. Vela is best visible during the months of March to June.
This constellation contains several notable stars, including Gamma Velorum, which is a binary star system, and Zeta Velorum, known for its brightness.
