USS Lawrence (DD-250)
USS Lawrence (DD-250) was a Clemson-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on 28 December 1918. She was named after James Lawrence, a naval officer known for his famous last words, "Don't give up the ship!" The ship was commissioned on 24 June 1920 and served primarily in the Atlantic Fleet.
During her service, USS Lawrence participated in various training exercises and operations, including fleet maneuvers and humanitarian missions. She was decommissioned on 1 June 1930 and later sold for scrap in 1931, marking the end of her brief but notable career in the Navy.
