USS Lawrence (DD-219)
USS Lawrence (DD-219) was a Clemson-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on 24 September 1919. She was named after Captain James Lawrence, a naval officer known for his famous last words, "Don't give up the ship!" The ship was commissioned on 24 June 1920 and served primarily in the Atlantic Fleet.
During her service, USS Lawrence participated in various training exercises and operations, including anti-submarine warfare during World War II. She was decommissioned on 1 June 1945 and later sold for scrap in 1947, marking the end of her naval career.
