USS Lawrence (DD-110)
The USS Lawrence (DD-110) was a Clemson-class destroyer of the United States Navy, launched on 15 December 1918. It was named after Captain James Lawrence, a naval officer known for his famous last words, "Don't give up the ship!" The ship was commissioned in 1920 and served primarily in the Atlantic Fleet during its operational years.
Throughout its service, the USS Lawrence participated in various training exercises and fleet maneuvers. It was decommissioned in 1930 and later sold for scrap in 1936. The vessel played a role in the interwar period, contributing to naval readiness before World War II.
