Thomas Howard, 5th Earl of Suffolk
Thomas Howard, 5th Earl of Suffolk (c. 1586–1640), was an English nobleman and politician. He was the son of Thomas Howard, 4th Earl of Suffolk and Mary de Vere, the daughter of the Earl of Oxford. He inherited the title of Earl of Suffolk in 1626 and served in various political roles, including as a member of the House of Lords.
Suffolk was known for his involvement in the royal court and his support of King Charles I. He was also a prominent figure in the English Civil War, aligning with the royalist cause. His life reflected the complexities of English nobility during a time of political upheaval.
