Tabata training
Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that consists of short bursts of intense exercise followed by brief rest periods. Typically, a Tabata session lasts four minutes, featuring eight rounds of 20 seconds of maximum effort followed by 10 seconds of rest. This format can be applied to various exercises, such as sprinting, cycling, or bodyweight exercises.
Developed by Japanese researcher Izumi Tabata, this training method is designed to improve both aerobic and anaerobic fitness. It is popular among athletes and fitness enthusiasts for its efficiency, allowing individuals to achieve significant results in a short amount of time.
