Suhrawardy Udyan
Suhrawardy Udyan is a prominent public park located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It covers an area of approximately 60 acres and is known for its lush greenery, walking paths, and serene environment. The park is named after Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, a significant political leader in the country's history.
The park holds historical importance as it was the site of the historic 6th March 1971 speech by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, which called for independence from Pakistan.
