Snefru
Snefru was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty, known for his significant contributions to pyramid construction. He ruled around 2613 to 2589 BCE and is credited with building the first true pyramids, including the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid at Dahshur. These structures marked a transition from step-sided to smooth-sided pyramids.
His reign is often seen as a period of innovation and architectural advancement. Snefru's efforts laid the groundwork for future pharaohs, including his son, Khufu, who built the famous Great Pyramid of Giza. Snefru's legacy is a testament to the evolution of ancient Egyptian engineering.
