Services Selection Board
The Services Selection Board (SSB) is an organization in India responsible for selecting candidates for the armed forces, including the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. It conducts a series of tests and interviews to assess the candidates' suitability for military service, focusing on their leadership qualities, psychological fitness, and overall personality.
The selection process typically lasts for five days and includes various activities such as group discussions, personal interviews, and psychological tests. Successful candidates are recommended for training at the respective academies, such as the Indian Military Academy or the Air Force Academy.
